You’ve probably heard that the NZ International Comedy Festival is coming back soon. If you have, well done. If you haven’t, then get your head out of your patooty. That’s right. I said patooty.
I know, I know, I’m always using this thing for shameless promo of comedy-related stuff, but so what? What do you want me to do here? Am I supposed to just post pictures of giraffes and write how I feel about African wildlife over and over again? Is that what you want from me? Will that make you happy?
Anyway, I’ve gone off track.
The NZ Comedy Festival is back in about two months. There is SO MUCH funny coming your way, and you don’t even realise it. How much funny? SO MUCH. That’s how much.
Check out www.comedyfestival.co.nz for more defined info about just how much. Pre-sale tickets for most shows will be available this week. So get in first and then you can brag to your friends about how you got the first tickets. You beat everyone else. You’re a winner.
And don’t forget to buy tickets for your two favourite shows. In case you forgot what those two shows are, I’ll remind you. They’re ‘Brad Zimmerman: Skydiving With My Mum’ (oh my gosh, that’s totally me! How exciting for you), and ‘The Saturday Sideshow’ (featuring Canadian Rob Harris, and oh my golly goodness Brad Zimmerman again! Shock! Happiness! Exclamation!)
Those tickets are available (or will be very soon) via their respective links.
Oh, and I love giraffes. They’re awesome. I used to want to be one when I grow up (that is not a joke. When I was six years old, I literally said “When I grow up, I want to be a giraffe”)
Now you know this about me. We’re best friends. I love you.
