Some Well-crafted Thoughts on “Offensive Comedy”

Well, hello. I didn’t see you there. Please, do come in. You don’t need to stand awkwardly by the door. Take a seat. Can I get you anything? Brandy? Some imported nuts?

Okay, I don’t know where I was going with that.

Anyway, I have just finished reading a very well-written article/blog about topics that are often considered offensive, or taboo, or off-limits in stand up comedy.

If this is something you have thoughts on, please do read it.

Oh, and it also has a few mentions of me and some things I’ve said on the subject. I did not know that before I read it. I was all like “What?” and then “Oh yeah, I did say that” and then like “Totally” and then like “Right on” and then like “Radical” and then like another thing.

Anyway it’s here.

It’s written by comedian, Adam Wright.

I have had the pleasure of performing with Adam quite a few times, and it’s always a real treat to watch him on stage.
