Jetlagged!

Just a reminder that we’re now in the final week of the Jetlagged FREE TICKETS competition.

Cruzanne Macalister and I will be reading all your awesome stories and giving away a double pass each to our FIVE FAVOURITES, so keep the entries coming!

For more info about the competition, visit www.jetlaggedcomedy.com, or if you’ve got an awesome travel-related story, email it directly to jetlaggedcomedy@googlemail.com with the subject header “Story Competition + (your name)”. Please include your full (real) name, a contact phone number, and your totally wicked story in the email body.

Oh, and the 2010 New Zealand International Comedy Festival is NOW OFFICIALLY ON!

Things kicked off with the awesome Comedy Gala in Auckland on Friday, hosted by Australian comedy legend, Rove!

And the Wellington leg of the festival was steered head-on into awesomeness, by last night’s First Laughs show at the Wellington Opera House. An EPIC line-up of comics from near and far, strutting their stuff to an enthusiastic, energetic, and hugely welcoming crowd.

Personal highlights for me were the ever-awe-inducing Terry Alderton from the UK, Jarred Christmas the ex-pat Kiwi Londoner, and host Ben Hurley, from TV3’s 7 Days, @Seven, and various Gala appearances over the last ten years. Powerhouse stuff. If you missed it, then I laugh heartily in your face… shame.

Go to the Jetlagged site to find out more about the festival (mostly about Jetlagged, if I’m being honest) and to check out the details of our Travel Story competition.

Remember… 5 double passes to Jetlagged are up for grabs people!

Stay Jetlagged, mofos.
