It’s your choice. I trust you’ll make the right decision. (Here’s a hint. You can actually do both. Nobody’s stopping you. I won’t tell anyone, I promise.)

Hostels are a great way to meet like-minded people to share your exciting globe-trotting adventures with, all the while being affordable, safe, and fun fun fun!

I know this is in a completely different tone to what I usually write on here (i.e. not dripping and oozing with an all-consuming hatred and negativity), but I’ll have you know, I’m actually a happy person. Plus, I’m super crazy mega ultra excited to have YHA onboard, because I’ve stayed in hostels all over the world (including YHA in New York City) and I’ve had the absolute BEST times there.

From being captured by MTV cameras whilst marching up Hollywood Boulevard, covered in hand-drawn (crude and offensive) permanent marker “tattoos”, wearing nothing but  a blue-bedsheet-toga; to stretch-hummer-limo champagne tours around various Las Vegas strip clubs and casinos; hostel life is always guaranteed to give you something new and amazing to add to your “look at the wacky things I’ve done in my life” collection.

Please tell me your favourite hostelling experiences from around the world. I’d (genuinely) love to hear them!
