Brad Zimmerman brings his new solo show ‘Grown Up’ to the 2011 New Zealand International Comedy Festival!

What exactly is an adult? Brad Zimmerman has no idea, but he worries he may be one of them. Having experienced many traditional ‘coming of age’ milestones in the past few years – including touring Europe, buying a first home, and getting engaged – he  fears adulthood has arrived and his childhood may be lost forever.

Whether you’re afraid of growing up, or want to look back on your own journey, visit Club Ivy in May, to join one of Wellington’s favourite comedians as he attempts to find out, once and for all, ‘What is a grown up?’ and ‘Is he one of them?’

Don’t miss Brad in New Zealand’s first ever comedy web series, 101 Dates!

101 Dates is written and directed by acclaimed local director/writer/blogger, Chaz Harris. The show follows a young Wellington woman, Alice Chapman (played by the charming Sarah Harpur), whose search for love has so far been painfully fruitless, and has left her marooned with one remaining option: The Internet.

Join Alice as she endeavours to scour the depths of the world wide weirdo web in search of the one. Along the way she’ll meet some pretty “special” potential ones, including Brad Zimmerman as Vladimir, an emo russian undertaker in his mid-twenties.

101 Dates first episode was launched Sunday 8th August 2010, and will release a new episode every Sunday. Keep checking out the 101 Dates Website for new episodes, exclusive updates, and facts and trivia about the cast and crew.

Levin is not just a small town, it’s a state of mind that dwells in every New Zealander, and quite possibly every person in the world.

It’s the part of our brains that gets excited about letterboxes, cows, and areas without any fastfood chains, cinemas, or basic human excitement.

Gareth Bradley, Nathan Winter, Jez Brown, and Brad Zimmerman are all veterans of the local comedy scene, and are prepared to bring you into their lives for this hilarious hour of comedy in the heart of central Wellington.

These four small-town kiwi lads bring you tales from the perspective of their backwater upbringings and the people who go through them. They’ll tell you all about growing up, living, and eventually leaving their low-population lifestyles, although one fact will always remain:
